I really enjoyed books 1 3 Book 4 which is the final book in the series, I hated I felt that book 4 was almost written by a different author because the story was so inconsistent with books 1 3 I was single word in books 1 3 In book 4 I found myself skimming through some of the scenes because I was so upset at how the saga was evolving.I was very prepared to give these books 5 stars after reading the first three books If you are into traditional happy endings, this book is not for you These books have the same main characters from books 1 4 The love story continues from each book, until the final book where the love story that Pietsch worked so hard to establish in the first three books disappears in a few pages The main love story is replaced with two other sorta love stories that bothered me very much The love story in book four was simply not consistent with books 1 3 I am so upset with this series because I wanted to love it, and then the final book has turned me off from this author for good For an amateur, Pietsch did a fantastic job in how she wrote the books The only hang up I have is that the last book was HORRIBLE I don t think anyone can read books 1 3 without reading the 4th book, so if you are not ok with a really inconsistent and bad ending, don t bother reading books 1 3 because you will only walk away feeling disappointed Not that having Vince out of the picture was good, but I liked seeing the rest of the team in action without him It helped fuel the love between Sarah and Vince, and had me hooked I actually read this and the 2nd book in the same day because it was so good I loved how Sarah went undercover, and almost thought she was going to get caught Having Sarah save and rescue Vince was a interesting twist since he s the one that usually goes in to save her It was nice to see her kicking ass and taking Not that having Vince out of the picture was good, but I liked seeing the rest of the team in action without him It helped fuel the Honey Pot Definitely a MUST READ Another great addiiton to the series.Vince has been captured by Nikolai and Task Force 125 need to rescue him. What I like about this series, aside from Sarah s character which is so refreshingly different, is that Ms Pietsch seems to really know her stuff She bandies around makes of helicopters and guns easily I know nothing about either but since Ms Pietsch is a USAF veteran I imagine she knows her stuff Ms Pietsch is also clearly well travelled and her familiarity with Europe and the Middl Another great addiiton to the series.Vince has been captured by this is a book about grown ups written by a grown up and I loved it Yes, it is light hearted but none the worse for that 2.5 stars Good story idea a little long for all the non action There was way too much plotting and not enough action I understand the importance of having a good plan but if my life was in danger I wouldn t want someone to takethen a week to get me especially if they knew where i was almost the whole time Even worse the story was not resolved because the bad guy got away How he knew to escape before they attacked I m still not sure the plot had some holes in it The published unfinished I m not sure I ll be reading Can The Woman Speak There is plan to rescue Vince, but will it succeeded An operative that is key is a young woman Boy can she talk She is fluent in Russian and Arabic In the Arab culture though, women must act demure lying Can she do it Read on and enjoy The desert heat awaits you with such delight. I feel like I need to read the whole series to fill in the many plot holes and missing information gaps that left me asking so many questions most of the way through the story but over all was decent except why did it take so damn long and why didn t Sarah do something a whole lot sooner I hated waiting I enjoyed Freedom s Promise and only rated low because of personal feelings and feeling lost due to not knowing history from previous books. Great sequel to The Path To Freedom Loved both books equally I think, however, that this should have been part of the first book, which did not end with the two lovers reunited, but on a cliff hanger. This is another great story of the gang.Vince was kidnapped and now they have him back.Lots of great action {READ BOOK} á Freedom's Promise ⚝ When a CIA operative is captured nobody is ever sent to save him Seasoned paramilitary operative Vince Hennessee knew the risks but the only way he could move on with the life he had planned with Sarah Stevens was to put down Nikolai Federov once and for allWhat he didn t expect was that Nikolai would find him first Now it is up to Sarah and the rest of the American Swift team from Task Forceto find Nikolai and put together an armed strike force that can take out the Russian and rescue Vince before it is too late It was okay It was a really quick read, and I would like to know what happens next.
