enjoy it it took me two days to read the whole lot which shows how much I enjoyed it at least , this is a 3.8 to 4 star rating, only because there were some I didn t enjoy as much Overall I give the box set 4 Stars I definitely recommend reading Summer Snoops Unleashed The Most Glittery Crime of the Year The Jewel Heist by Judith Lucci 5 StarsLily and LauraLea are back in the latest story in the twists, this story will keep you entertained from beginning to end Radical Regatta by Anna Celeste Burke 5 StarsKim and Brien are back in a new, fun read in the Corsario Cove series Brien may be the local hero after rescuing a drowning dog but someone isn t happy about the situation Kim, Brian, Bede, and Detective Mitchum are once again trying to stay ahead of the villains as they work to solve the mystery of who tried to kill Archie Pepe brings a lot of humor to the story and I look forward to his future antics There is plenty of action and intrigue that kept me turning the pages as fast as I could Fireworks, Forensics, and Felonies by Colleen Mooney 4 StarsThis is the latest addition to the New Orleans Go Cup Chronicles series Brandy and Jiff find themselves caught up in a far reaching criminal investigation when friends of Jiff are apparently killed in a house explosion fire and a fireworks explosion Even though I knew who was responsible, it didn t detract from the story I was hooked waiting to see how the criminals would be caught The timeline, however, was off and that bothered me Yours by Fiona Quinn 3 StarsThis isn t a typical cozy Kate spends the story trying to find the owner of a found watch and dealing with problems surrounding her marriage to Ryan There was some deep subject matter traumatic brain injuries in vets and suicide but it didn t drag the story down A body was found of a woman missing for 2 years but the body was preserved enough to be easily identified, no explanation of why searchers including SAR dogs never found the body, how she died, etc The ending came out of nowhere Just all of a sudden, the mystery was solved Pies, Lies and a Last Goodbye by Maria Grazia Swan 2 StarsThis is just a weird story Monica is about as mature as a middle schooler She s in lust with a married man, Tristan He said things over the phone indicating he is interested in her before his wife goes missing Then we get a subplot tied in with Tristan that seems far fetched Then a surprise reveal at the end and Monica s strange reaction to it There were so many grammatical and punctuation errors, too You Can t Judge a Crime by its Aura by Kelly Hashway 5 StarsAn enjoyable read about Piper, a psychic PI, and Mitchell, a police detective solving a murder with help from Maddie, an author, and her fianc , Trevor This is a blending of 2 series by this characters Salem and her good friend Viv are determined to find out who committed murder at Belle Court a senior retirement living complex I look forward to readingin this series Death In Mercy by Susan Boles 3 StarsThis story was moving along okay and then out of nowhere the murder is solved I don t really understand why the murderer killed the guy I also think the assault that occurred was a bit far fetched Sharpe Pain A Corpse in the Cabin by Lisa B Thomas 4 StarsWith a cast of unique characters who aren t all what they appear to be, this was an enjoyable story I have to admit, I didn t guess who the murderer was before it was revealed Death and Taxes on a Cloud by Emily Selby 4 Star An interesting story with twists and turns that kept me interested from page one The murderer reason for the murder were a surprise but made sense Ruff Justice by Joanna Campbell Slan 4 StarsThis was not a typical cozy There was no crime to solve until the very end Then the solution to the crime simply fell into their hands without them trying to figure it out In spite of that, this was an entertaining story High Heel Homicide by Ava Mallory 2 StarsA weird story Holly is approached by a strange man, asks no details concerning his job offer, and simply quits her job and flies off across the country Are there really people that na ve Holly never tried to solve the crime so it wasn t really a cozy There were so many grammar and punctuation errors, as well as the names kept changing, that it was totally distracting A Knead To Kill by Chelsea Thomas 3 StarsThere are plenty of quirky characters and strange happenings in this story Chelsea, Miss May, and Teeny set out to find a killer at a baking contest in VT and prove Chelsea didn t do it The characters were a bit immature na ve Spunky Bumpkin by Sam Cheever 5 StarsAn entertaining story from start to finish There were plenty of suspects and motives to hold my attention as the story unfolded This was my first Country Cousins Mystery but I look forward to readingof this series
