beyond amazing Powerful, devine, sadistic, shocking, those are only some of the best ways to describe The Last Confession of the Vampire Judas Iscariot. The story starts back in biblical history when thousand years, egging him on to get the vengeance he so rightfully deserves, the Father of all Lies drives Judas to help history along the side of Evil Judas not seeing the truth of what is really become a true Anti Christ is the life blood of a Priest Which up until now has been beyond his grasp Though as events play out, he and the Devil both may have met their match.A gripping, intriguing tale that will have readers desperate to know what happens next, and questioning everything they thought they knew Not for the faint of heart, definitely for every vampire fan out there This is a very well written book, the first work of fiction from this author, where he gives us a very interesting new approach to what could have happened to Judas Iscariot after he committed suicide, moments after seeing the person he betrayed Jesus being crucified After he is dead, the devil transform him into a vampire, so he can be his disciple and start influencing people to do the wrong things, like torturing their enemies with the justification that pain cause purification But living This is a very well written book, the first work of fiction from this author, where he gives us a very interesting new approach to what could have happened to Judas Iscariot after he committed suicide, moments after seeing the person he betrayed Jesus being crucified After he is dead, the devil transform him into a vampire, so he can be his disciple and start influencing people to do the wrong things, like torturing their enemies with the justification that pain cause purification But living forever is far away from being a blessing It islike a curse to Judas The narration starts in Ars, France, 1830, where Father Vianney is tormented by the devil Judas is the blacksmith of this small town and the owner of the tavern, where all the male population meets after work to get drunk and have fun with young ladies Through prayer Father Vianney refuses to give in to the devil and as the devil does not get new followers, he moves on to the next victim. So the story goes back and forth in time, with Judas narrating to an laicized priest Raymond Breviary all his deeds in those two thousand years since he is working for the devil How he worked in many different roles, being a king, a general, a teacher, whatever was needed to affect history and make a move in the direction of the goal of his master the devil In order to move on to his next incarnation, Judas needs to drink the blood of an innocent victim to restore his youthful vigor But nothing he does brings him what he wants most and what he was denied two thousand years before. The whole idea of this book is superb and will keep you hooked till the last page is turned.I recommend this book to the permanent library of any reader who wants to be entertained and educated in the power of Christian religion and principles Awesome This book was great I didn t want it to end but everything that happened was perfect for the book A little sad about some of the events but that means it was all written because I cared about the characters.
